Megamouths are a type of beast found in Whistling Mountains and the Freoh Desert.

Whereas normal Megamouths are known as 'Rock Turtles', Elder Megamouths are known as 'Mountain Turtles'. And not because of their habitat. These giant creatures use the same tactics as their regular counterparts, but while normal Megamouths are a bit helpless in movement, relying on getting the first strike and ending it with that as well, Elder Megamouths have no issues with rising to their feet and grinding their foes into a fine paste.
Combat:
Will remain docile until approached, after it will launch a ferocious assault, usually kick started with trying to swallow the disturber or critically wound it right off the bat. If that isn't enough to end the foe, it will rise up on its feet, rise above his foes, and go all-out.
